SUBJECT: Thank You

I would like to take this time to thank you for becoming a volunteer at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center , You have become a very important part of the many programs that we offer at the center. During the summer of 2001 you came to me with an ideal of starting a computer program for the kids in our summer camp one day a week. This turned into two days a week and is now an on going program, There were some much needed improvements made on the existing computer which were donated to the center and you and your partners came and volunteered to make the necessary upgrades to make the computer useful for the after school computer program. Your program is assisting our children with hands on training. It also teaches how to operate, repair and identify minor problems with a computer. Along with teaching computers you have volunteered to assist children with home work. Your organization has also become a voting member at the monthly recreation council which meets the third Tuesday of the month. You have brought in some new ideals and increased the voting power in some very sensitive areas.

On behalf of the staff and recreation council we would like to say thank you very much for all of the assistance you have given us. We hope you continue to grow in positive manner with the center and council as well as your own personal endeavors.
